The suspended luminaire torque test device is a specialized equipment tailored to comply with IEC60598-1 clause 4.14.1 (test B), focusing on evaluating the safety performance of mechanical suspension devices for rigid suspension luminaires under constant torque forces. Test requirement: A torque of 2.5Nm is applied to the luminaires for a period of 1 min, first in a clockwise and then in an anticlockwise direction. For the test, it shall not be possible to rotate the luminaire relative to the fixed part by more than one revolution in either direction.
