Live Test)
1. Introduction
IPX1-4 waterproof test chamber combines the oscillating tube and
drip box in one system, it meets the requirement of IEC60529
regarding the IP level IPX1, IPX2, IPX3 and IPX4. Waterproof test
simulates the condition of dripping water, splashing water and
spraying water, which is mainly applied to electronic products,
luminaire, electric components, motor and house-holding appliance.
The waterproof test can help to judge the products’ performance,
and provide the basis for design, improve and inspect.
The inner box and turntable is made by SUS304 stainless steel with
thickness of 1.2mm, which can against the water impact. The outer
box is made of high quality steel covered with paint. Built in
water tank and with ball valve to control water level, the water
can be recycled. The system is controlled by Panasonic PLC and 7
inch touch screen, user is easy to operate the tests.
2. Features
1). Used for IPX1, IPX2, IPX3, IPX4 waterproof testing
2). The oscillating tube is driven by Chinese branded servo stepper
motor, speed and angle can be adjusted accurately.
3). The water filter is installed on water supply line, which can
filter impurities in water and prevent the nozzle from block.
4). The turntable is driven by stepper motor, the speed can be
preset on touch screen, and can control forward and reverse
rotation.
5). The test box is installed with a socket-outlet (AC220V/10A) to
support live test, on and off time is controlled within 0-999min
(on)~0-999min (off) , which is applied to on-off test.
6). Built-in water tank, the water can be recycled, and no need to
build a professional waterproof test room. The water level is
controlled by ball valve with alarm.
7). The drip board adopts a vacuum design and is constructed of
SUS304# stainless steel, the excess water of the drip board and
needle can be drained by connecting the air compressor to avoid
clogging of pinholes due to long-term accumulation of water and
scaling.
8). Transparent observation window made of toughened glass
material, working chamber equipped with LED lighting, user can
observe the specimen during the test.
9). Controller: Adopts 7 inch touch screen and Panasonic PLC
10). With intelligent operation interface, the user can directly
select the test level, and the system will automatically perform
the test according to standard conditions.

6. FAQ
1). Is the turntable has adjustable incline function according to
60598, a 15o angle is requested?
Pego: Yes, the equipment includes a turntable, and the turntable
has incline function. For IPX2 test, the turntable should be 15
degrees tilted.
2). For IPX3/4 oscillating tubes, are the tubes could change or
fixed size?
Pego: Yes, the oscillating tubes can be changed, but it can only be replaced with a smaller tube than the original
one. For example, if we recommend R600 oscillating tube as per your
maximum specimen, then R400 and R200 tubes can replace R600 tube
for testing smaller sample.
3). Could the turntable be adjusted manually Test Sample for setup?Pego: The rotation speed of turntable can be set on touch screen.
4). How’s the mechanism for the Nozzle? Does it easy to change?
Could a close up photo could be provide?
Pego: Yes, the nozzle can be changed easily.
5). Does the chamber has any spare nozzles?
Pego: Yes, 100pcs spare nozzles, 20pcs spare brass nozzle seat and
1 spare water filter will ship together with the equipment.
